10Y5M 8Y8M ソフトボール Softball

日本人会主催のソフトボール大会が年に二回ある。企業のチームを中心とした大人の大会だが、子供のチームが一つだけ参加。小学校５年生から中学校３年生までの子供で構成されているチーム「パイレーツ」。

今回の大会でも善戦した。

アラタのクラスメイトもほとんど参加していて、アラタもやってみたらサッカーより好きらしい。昔から自分の子供には野球をやらせたいと思っていたから、私も練習を手伝っている。

でも暑くて毎回熱中症。悲しい。

There is a softball tournament organised by the Japanese Association twice a year. The participants are all adults teams but one. It's team Pirates, consisting of children of year 5 to year 9.

At the tournament in June, they played well.

Arata's joined the team since most of his classmates are playing. And he said he prefers softball to football. I am happy as I always wanted my sons to play baseball, when I was child, and I also help their trainings.

But I get heat stroke every time I went out to play with them. I am o frustrated......

10Y7M 8M ランカウイ修学旅行 Residential trip to Langkawi

後ろの小さいフェリーで帰ってきた

日本人学校は、5，6年生が一緒に修学旅行へ行く。隔年でランカウイとクチン。今年はランカウイへ2泊。最終日は、フェリーターミナルで保護者がお迎え。

At PJS, year 5 and 6 go to 2-night residential trip together. They go every year either to  Langkawi or Kuching and it was Langkawi this year. We went to pick them up at the ferry terminal.

10Y5M 8Y8M ボールボーイ Ball boy

 アラタはテニスを続けているが、タカラはやっていない。兄弟で習い事が違うと送り迎えが大変！でもたまにタカラもテニス場に登場する。スネイクボードに乗ってボール拾い。

Arata still learns tennis but Takara has stopped it. It's quite tough for parents if children have different activities as we are their driver! Anyways, sometimes, Takara comes to the tennis court with us as a ball boy. He picks up balls while maneuvering his snake board.
