11Y10M 10Y1M 日本人学校初スイムミート PJS’s first swim meet

日本人学校は毎週水泳の授業があるのに、他校との水泳大会やスイムミートがない。CSCで頑張っている子供たちのために、もっとモチベーションを刺激するためにあちこちのインター校にお伺いをたてていた。
 

Uplandsに誘ってもらえて、Tenbyとの３校スイムミートへ。雷雨のため途中で突然中止になって消化不良気味だったけど、６年男子４人、よく頑張った。今後もっと練習してもっと披露する場を作ってあげるつもり。

At Japanese school, kids have a swimming lesson per week throughout the year. But there are no events to participate such as swim meets with other schools. Since 4 boys at year 6 have been working hard at CSC, we’ve been asking around the international schools if they could invite us.

We went to our first ever swim meet at Uplands. Tenby was there too and boys really enjoyed the setting. I think I would find more for them to show their swim!
