Stable weeks?

The second trimester of pregnancy is usually regarded as 'stable' months and you will feel most comfortable. I could not believe it until the beginning of this week because I had quite a few problems in the last 2 weeks. Well, but, the best time has finally arrived for me. I've been feeling very well this week.

It was about a couple of days ago, a man tickled my left side waist from behind. I said, 'It's ticklish. Stop it.' He did not seem to listen to me. He again pushed briefly the other side of my waist with his figure. Ticklisssssssh! I then woke up. It was a dream. Well, but, it's still ticklish..... Oh, it's baby's kicking! My baby woke me up!

I went to a tapas restaurant near Goodge Street with Noriko and her friend Sagami this evening. Sagami has an experience to have a baby in this country and Noriko had decided to introduce her to me. The tapas was really nice. Good atmosphere, nice food and gorgeous dessert. Anyway, Sagami has been in England for 4 years with her Japanese husband and 3 kids. She is really nice woman and I wanted to ask her loads of questions but I felt Noriko may have felt bored and I did not go so far. Probably I will ask her opinions next time if I have some problems like the ones last week. She lent me a maternity book published by a Japanese group in England, and a couple of other books.

When I told them that I was going to go to Helsinki from this Friday, they both reacted in a very interesting way. Nearly all my Japanese friends are against my holiday plan because I may encounter some unnecessary problems which would harm my baby. But Noriko and Sagami said, 'If something happens in Helsinki, you will receive much better medical services than here in England!' Very interesting and good point! Those Japanese who have lived in the U.K. are different from the ones in Japan or temporarily abroad. Sagami told me that there is a system within EC that you can receive free or nearly free medical services wherever you are. Only we need to do is fill in a form, E111, and get it stamped at any post office for free of charge. I will definitely do it tomorrow. I also have a private insurance.

I have to call GP to get the result for the swab test from last week.
