4Y4M 2Y7M 母の日 Mother's day

マレーシアで初の母の日。ここの母の日は英国とは違い、NZや日本と同じ5月。

アラタが幼稚園で作った母の日カード。（真ん中はママの絵。上部水色は飛行機。ママの左は旗だって。）最近描くアラタの人物像、目が小さくなって、口もできて、胴体も描くようになった。ちょっと前までは目だけが異様に大きい顔だった。子供が象徴的な顔や目だけを見ている状態から全体を見れるようになって来た証しだ。

My first Mother's day here. In Malaysia it's in May like in NZ or Japan (unlike in the UK).

Arata made a mother's day card. (It's mummy in the middle, an orange air plane at the top in the blue sky and 2 flags and poles in the left.) He can now draw eyes, mouth and the body. He used to only draw 2 huge eyes in a round face. It tells us that he can now see the whole body rather than only the significant part of the human being, the face. He is growing up!
