火曜日より親子3人で日本に里帰り。ここは東武動物公園です。東武線で行くと遠いイメージがあったけれども、車なら30分弱。

タカラはモルモット触っているけれども、アラタは拒否。ポニーライディングも初めは躊躇していたアラタ、勇気を出して乗りました。

17年ぶりの日本の7月。思ったより暑くない。

Aratakara and I have been in Japan since Tuesday. We went to Tobu Dobutsu Koen (zoo). It was my first time as it looked quite far from Omiya by train. But in fact it was only less than half an hour by car from my parents place.

Takara didn't feel scared to touch small animals but Arata refused. Arata was reluctant to try pony riding but after 2 hours thinking, he decided to give it a go just before we went home. It was absolutely fine!

It's been 17 years since I spent July in Japan. It's not as hot as I thought.
