モニカがギャップイヤーを利用してアジア貧乏旅行中。インド、タイに滞在した後、ペナンに立ち寄ってくれた。さすが英国で育った女の子。19歳とは思えない程、大人でしっかりしている。今後もベトナムやカンボジアを旅行するとのこと。ペナンでリラックスして後半のために充電したいと言っているのに、あちこち連れまわしています。
自分の娘でもおかしくない年齢なんだなあと思うとちょっと緊張。不思議です。
Monika has been staying with us for a week. She's been having a gap year break and travelling South East Asia. She's spent 2 months in India and Thailand and she wants to relax and recharge here for the second leg of her journey to Vietnam and Cambodia. I've taking her around every day, though.
As a 19 years old who was brought up in the UK, she is very independent and mature. I hope my boys will also grow up this way.
I could have a daughter of her age. This idea makes me feel a bit nervous. Wired feeling.
