今年は中華正月が早かったので、クリスマス、チャイニーズニューイヤー、福建ニューイヤーと、1か月の間イベント目白押し。来週はタイプーサン。そのため学校の休みが多い！これはSCIPSのクリスマスイベント。

This year, the Chinese new year was quite early and lots of events have happened in just one month. Christmas, CNY, Hokkien CNY and we have Taipusan next week. It means lots of school holidays! Arata is with Father Christmas, who came to SCIPS by school bus.

今年は辰年なので、ドラゴンダンスも。SCIPSで。

At SCIPS, we also saw a dragon dance.

ナニア幼稚園の恒例チャイニーズニューイヤーイベント。タカラはがに股なので正座が厳しい様子。SCIPSでは先生の授業聞く時あぐらだから、ま、いっか。

Usual CNY event at Nania. Takara can't sit in 'seiza' position, sitting on your lower legs as other children do in this photo, as his legs are open wide. This is a proper Japanese way of sitting on the floor, but at SCIPS, kids are asked to sit in 'agura', crossing their legs as he does in this photo.
