As we had a quick holiday in Japan after SCIPS went into holiday, we had the whole August for ourselves.
In Japan, children walk to school without any accompanying adults from 6 years old, while in the UK, we shouldn't even think about leaving children under 12 alone at home. I've been torn between these contradictions, but Aratakara can now stay at home without me for a short period of time.
When I have to go to work and leave home long hours, Keiko or Nisha or Susi is happy to babysit them. But for one or two hours, boys can stay home by themselves. They've grown so much, it s easier for me.
Takara's 3rd tooth came out at last.
