タカラは、SCIPSの一年、二年の時にクロスカントリー（長距離レース）で学年男子の上位３人に入ってメダルをもらっていた。今年ももらえるものだと自分も思っていたし、母も思っていた。

結果は危うく６位の５位。

家でゲームばかりしているし、体重は重くなるし、しょうがない結果だが、本人もショックらしく、この話題はもうするなと言う。せっかく運動神経いいんだから、何か打ち込むものを見つけてほしい。

Takara was in the 1st and 2nd places at SCIPS cross country races in the last 2 years. And this year, he believed he could win again. So did I.

But the result was 5th place.

Takara plays computer games lots, and he's gaining weight, so it's actually expected. He was surely shocked by the result and he doesn't want us to talk about it any more.

Hopefully he will come back to the top 3 by working hard. He has a talent in athletics and I really hope he will find something he really likes and concentrates on.
