13W 0D 乱闘 Fighting

昨日のフランス対イングランドは強烈な試合だった。後半90分までイングランドが1-0でリードしていたにもかかわらず、たった3分のインジャリータイムの間に、ジダンのFK、PKでフランスが逆転しまったのだから。表面上、イングランドを応援していたが、隠れジダンファンとしては、かなり興奮した。それにしても、ジダンはすごい。神業だ。

St Katherin's Dock のパブでますみちゃんと観戦していた。後ろにフーリガンがちょっと入った生っ粋のイングランドサポーターの軍団がいた。試合中、品の悪いやじを飛ばしつづけたが、歌を歌ったり、チャンティングしたり、なかなかパブを盛り上げてくれた。でも、ジダンのFKが決まった後は最悪だった。私の前に座っていた、明らかにイングランドサポーターを私の頭越しにつかまえて、「てめえはフランスのサポーターか」といちゃもんをつけ始めたのだ。私たちの横にフランスサポーターが何人かいたのだが、私の前にいた可哀相な男性は、FKの後にオンリがヘスキーに倒されて、フランスにPKが与えられると、フランスサポーターと同じように両手を上げてしまったのだ。その人にとっては、「なんてことだ！」って感じだったのだと思うが、酔っ払ったそのフーリガン交じりのやつには、ちょうどいいカモと映ったのか、酔っ払って見境がつかなくなったのか、わからない。どう考えても勝つと思っていた試合、負けて八つ当たりしたくなったのだろう。試合終了直後、彼らは、テーブルをひっくり返し、グラスを割って、殴り合いが始まった。私は近くにいたので、とにかく、おなかを蹴られたりしたらたまらないと、窓からパブの外へ脱出した。

警察沙汰になるほど大騒ぎにはならなく、すぐに収まったようだが、7年イギリスに住んでいて、パブで何回もサッカーを観ているが、こんな騒ぎを見たのは初めて。気をつけなければ。

It was a really impressive match yesterday. England vs France. England was leading 1 - 0 till the 90th minute and everybody believed England's win. But within only 3 minute of injury time, Zidane made FK and PK, then French won. I was, of course, supporting England but I am always a big fan of Zidane and actually, I got really excited to see his great skills!! Well, Zidane is really super. It's truly professional.

I was watching the match in a pub at St Katherine's Dock with Masumi. There were a group of English supporters just behind us. They looked a bit rough and were swearing during the match. But they sang, chanted and lived up the atmosphere in the pub. However, after Zidane made the first FK, they started to be rougher. One of them, who was standing just behind me, grabbed the man in front of us shouting,' You support France?' Then when England lost 2 minutes later, they started to fight, throwing tables, breaking glasses and hitting each other. I was very close to them and I felt a really danger. I did not want to be kicked my tummy. I escaped from the pub out of a window.

It was not as bad as Police was called. I've lived in England over 7 years but it was the first time to see such a fighting in a pub when watching football games. I have to be careful.
