Wapping周辺にはバングラディッシュ人が多く住んでいる。だから出産で入院した時の病院食はカレーだったし、バングラ街のブリックレーンはすぐ近く。今日のベイビーヨガでは、英語だけではなく、バングラディッシュの歌も歌った。きょうはマフムダとモンモイと隣り合わせだったので、並んでいるところを撮った。モンモイはクリスマス生まれだからアラタと2日違い。彼は精悍な顔立ちをしているからとても4ヶ月の赤ちゃんには見えない。マフムダには、出産後すぐ、母乳授乳グループに母と行った時に初めて会った。二人とも英語が話せないお母さんが一緒だったので、親近感が沸いたっけ。
There are lots of Bengali people living here. That's why we always have curry dishes for hospital meals and famous Bangladesh town, Brick Lane, is very close. At baby yoga today, we sang Bengali songs as well. Today, Arata and I sat next to Mahmuda and her baby boy Monmoy. Monmoy was born on Christmas day and he is only 2 days older than Arata. But he doesn't look 4 month old baby. He is a very handsome mature looking baby. We met them first time in January at breastfeeding group. As Mahmuda and I were both with our own mums, who do not speak English much, I felt a instant friendship with her!
