Takara's cord came off last night. He sleeps most of time but has started to be awake for about 2 hours a day on average since yesterday. New born babies sleep this much? I can't remember it. I'm so used to Arata and I feel looking after a new born baby easy! I also keep sleeping whenever I have time. I want to be fit while mum is still here.
We were going to give Takara a bottle just before going to bed but my breasts have produced lots of milk and I only breastfeed now. And I'm too lazy to do mixed feeding. Well, Takara's sleeping and feeding pattern is still not fixed, he only woke up once the day before and 3 times yesterday, but by the time my mum goes back to Japan, it will be much more settled. And I won't be able to have nap that much after she leaves. I think we will then have to start to give him a bottle during night.
I've started to feel bored staying only at home. On Monday, Naomi and Mitsuyo, who was on holiday, came to see us. Adiba and Jamal came to visit us today. I've tried to go out for about an hour every day since 2 days ago but I still feel a bit of pain around the cut after walking for about 10 minutes. I really appreciate my friends come to see us.
And... Arata has started to be a bit naughty. He hit Takara's head with a camera this afternoon. Takara started to scream and Arata also started to cry by being told off. I'm sure it's just the beginning.... Just before this incident, Arata was putting his face onto my breast while I was breastfeeding Takara. I asked Arata if he wanted to have my breast milk and he replied, "Ok," and I said to him, "It's not tasty" and of course, I didn't offer him my breast. But did I provoke his anger by saying this?
