4Y2M 2Y4M ブキットゲンティン Bukit Genting

今日は午前中からLilia一家とおでかけ。ジョージタウンのプレイグラウンドで落ち合って、フェリー乗り場近くにあるおいしくて有名だというTree Shadeチャイニーズ海鮮レストランでランチ。レストランと言ってもホーカーみたいなとことろで、自分で野菜や魚を選んで調理してもらう。二家族でRM50（GBP10、JPY1800）。


夕食には他のお友達も集まって、ブキット・ゲンティン(Bukit Genting)へ。ペナン島南の丘で、頂上にあるタイレストランからの眺望がよく、海に沈むサンセットを観ながら夕食ができるのが売りらしい。ここのグリーンカレーは本当にグリーンで、イギリスのタイレストランで食べるのとは全く違う。本場のタイで食べたらこんなのなのかしら。もちろん美味！運ばれてきた時はこの緑の食べ物がグリーンカレーだと全く気がつかなかった。

We spent time with Lilia's family today. We met at the playground near the High Court then headed for one of the popular Chinese seafood restaurants, "Tree Shade", near the ferry terminal. It looks more or less like just a hawker centre but you can choose fish and vegetables from the display. It was only RM50 among us.　(GBP10, JPY1800)

For dinner, some other friends joined us and we went to Butik Genting. It's the hill in the south of Penang island. At the summit, there is a Thai restaurant and the view from there is gorgeous. People go there for dinner watching sun set into the sea.

I was quite shocked to see this green dish. Yes I remembered we'd ordered Green Curry. But green curry in the UK is not this green at all and I couldn't tell what it was. Probably if you go to Thailand, green curry is always like this? It tasted delicious of course.
