7Y5M 5Y8M オリンピック Olympics

 SCIPSのオリンピックイベントはなかなか見ごたえあり。多くの国籍の子供がいて、旗を見てもどの国かわからないのもあった。

アラタの心境も変化。今までは何でも日本だったのに、今回はニュージーランドを代表すると言い出した。母としてはちょっと寂しい。

ニュージーランドのグループは小さくて、たった9人。ただ、そのうち3人は、同じようなサイズのアジア人とのハーフの2年生の男の子で、オールブラックス（ぐらいしか、ニュージーランドっぽいものはないね）でかわいかった。

 The SCIPS Olympics day was very good. There were so many different nationalities and I couldn't tell which countries all the flags belonged to.

Arata's identity has changed a lot in the last few months. He'd always been Japanese whatsoever happened, but this time, he told me he would parade as a New Zealander. I felt a bit sad, of course.

The Kiwi squad only had 8 children. But 3 of them were year 2 boys, they were all about the same size, and they all had a Kiwi father and an Asian mother. They were of course all in black. They were so cute, to be honest!
